What Happens in Your 12-Week Online CPE Cohort?

A Flexible, Life-Changing Experience for Those Called to Care

You already feel the call.

You’ve served, prayed, listened, and shown up when it mattered.

Now it’s time to take the next step—and receive the kind of training that brings confidence, clarity, and clinical credibility.

This 12-week online CPE cohort gives you the spiritual depth and professional grounding you need—without uprooting your life.

Whether you're preparing for chaplaincy in healthcare, the military, corrections, or community ministry—CPE is essential.

And if you're pursuing board certification, it's not just essential—it's required.

300 Hours: Spiritual Care Where You Already Serve

You’ll complete your clinical hours in your real-world ministry context—hospital, hospice, military unit, prison, shelter, or community setting.

You’re not just observing. You’re offering real spiritual care in real time.

Don’t have a clinical placement yet?

We’ve helped dozens of students find one—and we’ll help you too.

100 Hours: Weekly Live Cohort + Guided Assignments

Each week, you’ll meet live with your cohort and a certified educator for a 3-hour session that forms the heart of your CPE journey.

You’ll:

Present and process real encounters with people in crisis or transition

Receive supportive, growth-oriented feedback from peers and supervisors

Engage in theological reflection that connects your beliefs to your caregiving

Grow in emotional awareness, presence, and pastoral identity

Outside of class, you’ll complete weekly assignments—including reflections, case studies, and mid/final evaluations—guided by clear templates and rubrics. You’ll never be left guessing.
